Welcome to my new "world"

Hey and happy new year, everyone...and happy new site!

Yes, it's true, I finally did it...set up my own LiveJournal site. People--mostly LJers--have been politely bugging me to dump my AOL journal (hey, MarcWorld is still turning around, just slowly) and get into this cooler, more versatile site. So here it is...and now you can comment wildly, AOLer or not.

I'm looking forward to seeing what this year holds, and seeing if I can keep my resolutions: mainly getting in better shape, not eating late at night (no matter what talks to me from the fridge) and becoming more efficient, especially at work. I hope to keep in better touch with my friends, and see them more often. And I plan to get this journal going in a respectably regular way!
